Expanding minds are a terrible thing to waste
As I am putting the final touches on my exiting thesis paper, I realizing how incomplete the paper is. This paper could easily turn into a master's thesis. There is so much more I want to learn and read and research. In some ways I feel like I am just getting started. I also feel like I am trapped by the requirements of the degree program from doing and exploring all that I wish to. Torn between exploring what I am passionate about and the professional requirements of ministry. In the words of Nouwen and Piper, when did ministry ever become professional?
Oh how I long for the summer when I can read what I want and write what I want. I already bought 4 books today to add to my summer reading list. Thanks Dave for telling me about the dollar book store.
